Kosovo. I have much to write about this amazing place and had never HEARD of it until 1999. I was there many times from 1999 until early 2002 and helped set up 2 radio studios, one for the Albanians and one for the Serbs and helped produce many many programmes and public service announcements in both languages and for both ‘sides’ in this deeply divided place.

MITROVICA. Google it if you’ve not heard of it! This is one of the first items I helped produce in Kosovo 1n 1999 shortly after the end of the war and was not broadcast….. You could say it was censored…. One day I will explain but suffice to say I learned a lot about the role of media in a conflict zone through producing this.
